We are pleased to announce that Dr. Marsia Bates has joined our practice!

Dr. Bates received her undergraduate degree from Long Island University in New York and is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her clinical training at University of Missouri and Animal Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Bates knew she was destined to be a veterinarian from a very young age. She was “that child” that brought home every animal she found, much to her parents’ chagrin. She has special interests in internal medicine, surgery, dermatology and dentistry. She also enjoys working with exotic species such as chameleons, Ball pythons, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and pocket-pets.

She currently shares her home with her sweet and feisty Shih Tzu, Holly, her mini Doodle Hey-Hey and two rescue kitties, Avery, a beautiful Maine Coon cross, and JoeJoe, a gorgeous grey tabby who has special needs. When not caring for animals, Dr. Bates enjoys gardening, camping and traveling.
